Meh. All the misconducts that were handed out was just so nothing else happened in that game. Pretty harmless all around as far as I am concerned. Even Orr. |

Yep...I believe u had two coaches who didn't really want anything to happen...None of this staged crap and both 4th lines actually played some decent hockey in this game... |

Agreed. But watching Scott try to play actual hockey that last two games has been really funny. I know it has been said time and time again about him not being able to skate, but it is bad. |

Garth, do some work dude instead of taking the word of a meathead. Phaneuf didn't "pull the chute" as you put it or "bail" as Scott put it. I don't even think he saw Scott. He was taking a hard left and completely lost an edge. Most likely due to the fact he really isn't a great skater. Phaneuf plays 25 minutes per game, it shouldn't be that hard to hit him other than the fact that Scott only plays 5 minutes per game and Phaneuf plays his shifts against the other team's top player of which Scott certainly is not. I'm sure Scott is just frustrated and scared about losing another NHL job now that Nolan has told him there will be no more staged fighting. He's going to have to earn his role as a hockey player now. His skill set and skating abilities are not NHL calibre. Enjoy his quotes for now as he won't be on the Sabres next year. |

Oh, come on. Phaneuf tried to avoid that hit and there is no denying it. And there is nothing wrong with that.
Maybe the quoted words that you used made you feel as if it was trying to be insulting, but it is the truth. |

GARTH! Do you realize what a whiny, sensitive, uneducated wanna-blogger you look like with these ridiculously immature and unprofessional excuses for writing? Read a book or something, dude. Or to put it in your language. Buffalo blows. Deal with it. And please at least pretend your IQ is higher than John Scott's.
Thanks so much. - EquityAdvocate
Do you realize this post makes you look the same way?
And John Scott went to Michigan Tech, so his IQ has to be pretty high. |

I don't understand why Buffalo feels the need to stick up for these players? He has ONE goal in his career. If it weren't for his size he wouldn't even make my beer league. Don't even start about the Leaf enforcers because I would agree a couple of them are useless too. With that being said I think next time Frazer Mclaren should go after Ehrhoff or Myers and call him a chicken when he doesn't fight. I mean what's the difference between them and Phaneuf? |

Show me one post where I stuck up for John Scott (besides his IQ)…
I think he is useless.
Edit: And I would LOVE for Mclaren to go after Myers. Myers needs to learn he will not get hurt if he drops his gloves. Not saying Myers would win, but just toughen him up a bit. |

Nah man I wasn't meaning you, you just had the last comment... That's why I said Buffalo, sorry to generalize, my mistake. I actually agree with a good amount of things you say I just am sick of others sticking up for useless players in this league. The Leafs have had a few over the years. Honestly when a player has played in nearly 200 games and scored a single goal thats pretty pathetic. Calling another player names when you can barely skate blueline to blueline is stupid. Fighting is fine by me but you should have too have a bit more skill then that lol. Steve Ott can fight, score and skate and as much as I hate him because he pissed off my team I have a great amount of respect for his game. |

Don't generalize. That's like saying everyone that lives in Toronto supports Rob Ford. Well I guess the majority do since he was elected. |

The facts are that Princess Phaneuf will still be in the NHL long after John "Useless" Scott has been playing in the LNAH. |

When a team is really bad fans will turn on just about anyone. I really don't mind Scott cause he's not the greatest fighter, but he's not the greatest anything and he's taking a line up spot from someone else who can actually play. Although there really isn't much in term of depth in Buffalo's system. I hope the sabres fans hang tight because they are in for a long ride. |

Scott admits Phaneuf is a star player...too easy |

This article should have stopped at "Scott Reacts to Phaneuf"...who cares..it's John Scott...he's a thug who can't even skate...Why would anyone care what John Scott says?? |

One spot on our team for an enforcer isnt making our team the way it is. if we were winning and scoring goals. That one spot wouldnt be an issue.if i were you leaf fans id worry about your all gangsta team jumping on one guys back. thats considered wussy to me. |
